Our sustainability goals

 Sustainability is at the core of what we do. We serve the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail industries, which are considered one of the most polluting industries in the world. We believe these industries can also have the greatest impact in tackling the global environmental crisis and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by contributing to responsible consumption and production. 

As a company, our work aligns us with the efforts to achieve SDG 9 and SDG 12. We focus on reducing out-of-stocks, a long-standing industry problem estimated at 1 trillion dollars. Reducing out-of-stocks with artificial intelligence not only increases our clients’ bottom line but also reduces waste by making sure products are on the shelf for consumers and not forgotten in a backroom. Our services improve retail execution, which are the processes that directly affect consumption.

We are also working with the NGO Marea Verde in a joint project funded by Benioff Ocean Initiative and the Coca-Cola Foundation to prevent plastic trash from reaching the ocean and wetlands in Panama City. Since our artificial intelligence platform is already trained to recognize packaged products, we are doing research on how to recognize those same products at the end of their lifecycle to improve plastic trash categorization.
